Pre-Show Promoting: Invitations

A Trade Show Displays Tip:

One of the most effective pre- trade show promotional ideas is to send out formal invitations to welcome everyone to your tradeshow display to check out any new items or services that you are offering. This will make people feel appreciated and noticed, if you make everyone feel like they are important to you, then they will be much more likely to take the time to stop by your trade show booths and see what you have to offer.

There are a few tips that will help you send out the invitation that will wow everyone and help you get the best return on your investment. Make sure that before you send out the formal invitations, that you single out the target group that will most likely be interested in your services. Look at all the profiles of the attendees and decide which ones fit the objectives of your company the best. This will save you time and money because it will narrow your target audience and give you a more focused approach for your marketing plan.

Another important tip is to spend time on the invitations so that they will be remembered. The more creative the design is, the more they will stick out in the minds of the customer; if they like them, it will set a positive mood for them when they stop by the trade show booths. You will also want to make sure to follow-up after the invitation is sent.

Although people appreciate the invitation, it does not necessarily mean that they will remember. Send a follow-up e-mail two to three days before the show, to make sure they acknowledge your efforts, and see that you are interested in them and were willing to take the time to follow-up to see them at your trade show booths. Pre-show promotions are a big part of the event overall. Do not forget to begin your advertising before the event, to continue it during the event, and to follow-up after the event to make sure that no one forgets who you are.
